This application has been filed praying that the transfer order dated 19.06.2024 as far as it concerns the petitioner, wherein she has been transferred from Garobadha Veterinary Dispensary, West Garo Hills, Tura to Nangalbibra Veterinary Dispensary, South Garo Hills, be interfered with.

Mr. P.T. Sangma, learned counsel for the petitioner submits the reasons that the writ petitioner has approached this Court is firstly, a representation that has been filed, has not been answered. Secondly, she has grave personal reasons, inasmuch as, she has an infant to look after, as well as her old parents. He however, fairly submits that there is no other reason seeking interference of the transfer.

Mrs. T. Yangi B, learned AAG assisted by Ms. S. Shyam, learned GA for the State respondents submits that the transfer is routine, as also in respect of the other officers who have been transferred by the same Notification. She further submits that the same being routine and an incidence of service, no interference is called for.

Heard the learned counsels for the parties, and considered the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner. As there is no allegation of any mala fide, mischief or that the transfer is a punishment, and moreover, the transfer being in the normal course of service, no interference is called for. Accordingly, the writ petition is closed, and disposed of at this stage.

However, as the writ petitioner has filed a representation, it is expected that the same be given due consideration, within a period of 2(two) weeks.
