Judgment
Prayer in this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is for issuance of a direction to respondents No.2 and 3 to consider the
application/representation moved by the petitioner dated 11.01.2018 (Annexure P-1) and conduct fair and impartial investigation and to take legal
action against respondents No.4 and 5.
Notice of motion to respondents No.1 to 3 only.
On asking of this Court, Mr. Surinder Pal Singh Tinna, Addl.
A.G., Punjab accepts notice on behalf of these respondents.
Let requisite number of copies of paper book be given to learned State counsel during the course of the day.

The document (Annexure P-2) dated 25.01.2018 as attached with the petition does reflect that the matter is already seized with the Additional Chief
Secretary, Government of Punjab, Local Bodies Department, Chandigarh.
In view of the aforesaid situation, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3 i.e. Chief Director, through Superintendent
Crime-2, Vigilance Bureau, Headquarters, Punjab, Chandigarh to take a final decision on the reference submitted to it by the Senior Superintendent of
Police, Vigilance, Amritsar, preferably within a period of three months from today.
