Mr. Rakesh Kumar Sharma, Advocate has filed reply on behalf of respondent No.1, perusal whereof reveals that order/judgment dated 6th July, 2017 passed by erstwhile H.P. Administrative Tribunal in OA(M) No.68 of 2016, titled as Dr. Rattan Singh Chandel versus Additional Chief Secretary (Education) and others, stands duly complied with.
Perusal of communication dated 21st September, 2020 (Annexure R/1-A), reveals that the Director of Higher Education, Himachal Pradesh having examined the matter, directed respondent No.1 to release the arrears on account of DA/IR alongwith interest from the due date(s) till the date of payment in terms of order/judgment dated 6.7.2017 passed by learned Tribunal below in OA(M) No.68 of 2016.
In compliance to aforesaid direction issued by the Director of Higher Education, Himachal Pradesh, Principal M.L.S.M, College Sundernagar, District Mandi, H.P., has already disbursed sum of Rs. 1, 84, 437/-, which includes IR/DA arrears and interest from the due date till date of payment to the petitioner(Annexure R/1 - B).
Having taken note of aforesaid communication placed on record alongwith the reply filed by respondent No.1, this Court sees no reason to keep the present petition alive and as such, same is accordingly closed. Notices issued to the respondents hereby discharged accordingly. However, liberty is reserved to the petitioner to file appropriate proceedings in appropriate Court of law qua the surviving grievances, if any.
