I.A. No.4575 of 2022
Mr. Rout, learned advocate appears on behalf of petitioner and submits, I.A. no.4575 of 2022 is for addition of Odisha Medical Services Association represented by State General Secretary, for being added as party in the writ petition.
Mr. Achary, learned advocate appears on behalf of opposite party no.4 and submits, his client has filed counter taking preliminary point that the writ petition is not maintainable. His client is an unregistered association. Mr. Rout responds by drawing attention to page-18 in the writ petition. He submits, it is memo dated 4th January, 1992, by which there was grant of recognition by the State. That is why all the more necessary that the State General Secretary of the Association be added as party. He submits further, all members of opposite party no.4 are in service Doctors/Medical Officers, including Dental Surgeons, serving under the Government of Odisha in Odisha Medical Services Cadre.
Mr. Panda, learned advocate, Additional Government Advocate appears on behalf of State.
The application is allowed. Odisha Medical Services Association as described in the schedule is added as opposite party no.5. Applicant has filed consolidated cause title and the amendment be carried out. I.A. no.4575 of 2022 is disposed of.
Issue notice along with this order on added opposite party by registered /speed post with AD. Applicant will put in requisites.
