Judgment
Petitioner seeks setting aside of order dated 16.02.2026 passed by the Competent Authority and grant of parole for 60 days in case FIR No. 185/2012 of PS Mangolpuri for offence under Section 302/34 IPC & 25/27 Arms Act.
In furtherance of last order, status report dated Nil was filed on 11.03.2026 by the State.
Learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of respondent, on instructions, submits that State has no serious objection to this petition in view of medical condition of son of petitioner. It is also submitted by learned Standing Counsel that medical record of son of petitioner has been got verified and the same is found to be genuine.
That being so, the present petition is allowed and the petitioner is directed to be released on parole for a period of 30 days subject to his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs.10,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the concerned Jail Superintendent.
At the time of releasing the petitioner on parole, the concerned Jail Superintendent shall convey to him, in writing, against written acknowledgment, the exact date when he has to surrender.
A copy of this order be immediately transmitted to the concerned Jail Superintendent for informing the petitioner.
