My attention has been drawn to an order dated 16.10.2023 passed in SBCWP No.2219/2021 (Sharvan Bishnoi v. Rajasthan Public Service Commission & Anr.) by a Coordinate Bench of this Court presided over by learned Dinesh Mehta, J., wherein, it is specifically noted that the Director, Secondary Education, Bikaner vide a communication dated 13.10.2023 had requested the Rajasthan Public Service Commission to operate the ‘Waiting List’ for appointment on the post of Senior Teacher in all the subjects including English, in which 97 posts were said to have remain unfilled from the main list.
Likewise, in the present case, it transpires that as per Annex.13 and 20, which have been prepared by the office of Director, Secondary Education, Bikaner, as many as 125 posts of Senior Teacher in Hindi subject are lying vacant even as on today.
On a query posed by the Court as to why similar exercise has not been carried out by the Director, Secondary Education, Bikaner asking the RPSC to operate the Waiting List for Hindi teachers specially in view of requisition dated 13.10.2023, which was meant for all the subjects, no satisfactory response is coming forth.
In the premise, in light of letter dated 13.10.2023 it is expected of the respondents to take expeditious steps to implement the Waiting List qua all the subjects, including Hindi as well, for appointment on the posts of Senior Teacher.
Needful exercise be carried out within a period of two months from today.
Petition is accordingly disposed of.
