Present writ petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus seeking directions to the respondents to redress the grievances of the petitioners to revise the curriculum and equivalence certificate in the Master of Science (Industrial Chemistry) equivalent to M.Sc. Chemistry Degree as they are ready to give the exams along with the usual fee.
At the outset, learned Counsel for the petitioners has pointed out that instead of pressing the present petition on merits, his clients would be satisfied in case the representation dated 16.01.2020 (P-7) is decided by the competent authority expeditiously.
Prayer seems to be justified.
Learned Counsel for the respondents, on instructions, states that he has no objection in case the limited prayer of the petitioners is accepted.
In view of the agreed stand taken by both sides, this writ petition is disposed off with direction to respondent No.1 to consider and decide the representation dated 16.01.2020 (P-7) in accordance with law by passing a speaking order within a period of 03 (three) weeks from today.
