Judgment
Alok Singh, J.—This is a petition seeking regular bail in case FIR No. 143, dated 07.07.2009, under Sections 399/402 of the Indian Penal Code, registered at Police Station Gobindgarh Mandi, District Fatehgarh Sahib.
Learned Counsel for the Petitioner states that Petitioner is in judicial custody w.e.f. 23.06.2010.
Learned Additional Advocate General, on the instructions of ASI Davinderpal Singh, states that four prosecution witnesses have already been examined, therefore, there is no inordinate delay in the trial.
On the statement of learned Additional Advocate General, Punjab, learned Counsel for the Petitioner seeks permission to withdraw this petition, at this stage, with request to direct the learned Trial Court to expedite the trial.
Petition is dismissed as withdrawn, at this stage. However, learned Trial Court is requested to expedite the trial. Learned Trial Court is further requested not to grant unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties.
