Judgment

The petitioner has approached this Court with a prayer for directions to be issued to respondents to sanction and to release two Financial Up-gradations under the Assured Career Progression Scheme (ACPS) as per letter dated 17.03.2017, issued by the respondent No. 5 (Office of the Accountant General (A & E) Meghalaya, Shillong along with arrears as admissible.
The State respondents by an affidavit have annexed an order dated 22.02.2022 (Annexure – 8 to the affidavit-in-opposition) issued by the respondent No. 2, which has granted the benefit of 1st Financial Up-gradation under the Assured Career Progression Scheme (ACPS) to the petitioner.
Mr. A.H. Hazarika, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the writ petitioner grievances would be redressed, if the State respondents are directed to release the benefits along with arrears due to the petitioner as has been granted by the order dated 22.02.2022.
Accordingly, in view of the submissions of the learned counsel for the parties, and the order which is on affidavit, as to the grant of the benefit of 1st Financial Up-gradations under the Assured Career Progression Scheme (ACPS), this writ petition is closed with the direction that the respondents are to complete the process expeditiously preferably within a period of 6 (six) weeks from today on presentation of certified copy of this order.
Matter accordingly stands closed and disposed of.
