The present civil misc. appeal has been filed by the claimants with a request to enhance the compensation awarded to them vide judgment and award dated 12.02.2016 passed by Additional District Judge, Nathdwara in Claim Case No.40/2014.

An application has been filed under the signatures of both learned counsel for the appellants and respondents, stating that during pendency of the present civil misc. appeal, the parties have entered into a compromise and as per the compromise, the respondent No.3 - TATA General Insurance Company Limited agreed to pay a sum of Rs.2,50,000/- in lieu of final settlement amount payable to the appellants / claimants.

For the reasons indicated in the application (I.A. No.01/2022), the same is allowed.

Keeping in view the aforesaid statements made in the application jointly filed by the parties, the present civil misc. appeal is disposed of with a direction to pay a sum of Rs.2,50,000/- to the appellants / claimants in lieu of the final settlement amount within a period of two months from today.

No order as to costs.
