The petitioner claims to have completed her MBBS course from the Central Asian International Medical University, Kyrgyzstan. She seeks for a direction to the first respondent to provide her NEET UG Score card and to accept her Foreign Medical Graduate Examination application and permit her to appear in the said examination.

2.

According to the petitioner, she had cleared the NEET-UG Examination 2021 written with Application No.210410552829, but had misplaced her score card issued in respect of the said examination. Since the said score card is essential for her to apply for the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination, petitioner has approached this Court seeking directions as her request, as per Ext.P4, has not received any response.

3.

The learned Standing Counsel has filed a Statement pointing that a new policy brought out by issuing an O.M. dated 17.09.2026 specifying the procedure for issuing a duplicate score card by the National Testing Agency which has come into force from the said date itself.

4.

Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Standing Counsel for respondents, I am of the view that the writ petition can be disposed of with a direction in the light of the new policy.

5.

Since the O.M. dated 17.09.2026 bearing No.NTA/OM/D/88/2026-ED-II produced as Annexure R1(a) has already come into force, this Court is of the view that the petitioner has to abide by the stipulations therein, and if fresh application is submitted as per the new policy, a decision must be taken in a time bound manner.

Accordingly, there will be a direction to the 1st respondent to issue the duplicate score card as stipulated in O.M. dated 17.09.2026 bearing No.NTA/OM/D/88/2026-ED-II, without delay, at any rate, within an outer period of seven days from the date of receipt of the application from the petitioner, as contemplated in the said office memorandum.

The writ petition is disposed of as above.
