This is an application filed by the petitioner with a limited prayer for stay of the operation of the impugned advertisement No. MPSC/ADVT-39/1/2018-2019/21 dated 13.04.2018 and the impugned letter calling upon the interview bearing No. MPSC/Ex-C/31/2019-2020/22 dated 16.05.2023.

It is the submission of the learned counsel that in view of the assertion made by the petitioner as to her status within the department being duly regularized by virtue of the relevant communication No. PER (AR) 34/2006/ ‘Pt III/749 dated 23rd June, 2022, whereby the name of the petitioner has figured in the list of those adhoc employees who are to be regularized, therefore, the said process wherein the advertisement was floated and has now reached the stage where some of the candidates were called for the screening test, the same may be put on hold till disposal of the main petition.

At this juncture, Ms. B.F. Kharwanlang, learned counsel for the respondent No. 4/MPSC has produced before this Court a notice No. MPSC/EX-C/1/2023-2024/120 dated 31st May, 2023, by which notice the personal interview to be conducted by the commission, including for the post of Senior Health Inspector in the Office of the Principal Regional Health Family Welfare Training Centre, Shillong under DHS (MCH & FW) has been postponed until further orders.

In view of such notice, it would appear that no restraining order is required at this point of time. However, the petitioner is at liberty to press for disposal of this application at the relevant point of time.
