The present batch of matters relate to domain names being registered by unknown third parties infringing trade mark rights of various brand owners and implementation of Court orders by the Domain Name Registrars (‘DNR’s). In response to the challenges arising out of unauthorised registrations, from time to time, various directions have been passed by this Court in respect of blocking, locking and suspending of the infringing domain names, and implementation of Court orders by various DNRs which may or may not be located in India.

Submissions on behalf of the Defendants have been concluded today. Mr. Darpan Wadhwa and Ms. Kruttika Vijay have made their submissions.

Owing to travelling of various Senior Counsels as also Counsels who are appearing in these matters to attend the International Trademark Association Annual Meeting, 2024 at Atlanta USA, they pray that the matters may be listed for hearing in the last week of May 2024. Owing to the board in the last week, before summer vacation, hearing these matters in the last week of May, 2024 may not be possible.

Accordingly, list these matters for further hearing on 2nd July, 2024.
