This writ petition is filed by the petitioner seeking the following reliefs:-

1.

Issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to show cause for the postponement of the 8th National Photographic Award Ceremony.

2.

Issue  a  writ  of  mandamus  directing  the respondents to conduct the 8th National Photographic Award at the earliest within a stipulated time frame.

3.

Issue any other writ, order or direction that this Hon’ble court deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case.

Award cost of this Writ Petition.

The issue relates to non conducting of National Photographic Award. The petitioner has raised various contentions. A statement is filed for and on behalf of the respondents, enumerating reasons for not conducting the Photographic Award.

However, today when the matter is taken up, the learned Counsel for the respondents submitted that the respondents have decided to conduct the National Photographic Award Ceremony on 07.03.2023. This is recorded. Therefore, I am of the view that the relief sought for by the petitioner in the writ petition is already been satisfied.

Therefore, after having heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner Sri. P.Sanjay and the learned CGC Sri.P.R.Ajithkumar, the writ petition is disposed of, recording the above submission.
