Judgment
The Court: Counsel for the plaintiff, defendant and added defendant are present. It appears from an order dated 5th February, 2018 that the defendant
no.2/added defendant was given time to file its written statement within a period of three weeks after receipt of the copy of the plaint. Counsel
appearing for the added defendant submits that the plaint was received on 16th of February, 2018. However, no steps thereafter have been taken by
the added defendant.
Counsel for the defendant submits that all the original documents are with the added defendant and added defendant may therefore be directed to file
the Judge’s Brief of Documents with the original documents.
As prayed for by the parties, the added defendant/defendant no.2 is directed to file written statement as well as the Judge’s Brief of Document
within a period of one week from date. Let the matter appear thereafter in my list.
Learned counsel for the defendant no.2 seeks leave to file Vokalatnama in the department. Such leave is granted.
