Judgment
Kurian Joseph, C.J.—The writ petition is filed with the following prayers:
(i) That the Respondents may be directed not to terminate the services of the Lecturers working on contract basis and regularize them in accordance with the policy framed vide letter dated 23.8.1994 (Annexure A-2). They may be further directed not to dispense with their service till they complete three years and thereafter regularize them in accordance with the policy.
(ii) That the Respondents may be directed to give salary to the members of the Association in the regular scale of Lecturer (School Cadre) w.e.f. their initial date of appointment. They may also be directed to give arrears on such salary with interest @ 18% per annum.
In view of intervening developments, in case the Petitioner has still any grievance left, it will be open to the Petitioner to approach the second Respondent, in which case, the matter will be duly considered by the second Respondent with notice to the Petitioner within a period of four months.
In view of the above observations, the writ petition stands disposed of, so also the pending application(s) if any.
