Judgment
S.R. Krishna Kumar, J
In this petition, the petitioner has sought for the following reliefs:-
“a) Issue a writ of Mandamus or any other writ or order and direct the 1st Respondent to place the report of the Hon’ble Justice (Retd) H S Kempanna Commission before the State legislature and
b) Issue a writ of Mandamus or any other writ or order and direct the 1st Respondent to take action on the basis of report of Hon’ble Justice (Retd) H S Kempanna Commission.
Or
c) In the alternative if this Hon’ble court comes to the conclusion that no mandamus can be issued to the 1st Respondent to Place the report of the commission before the state legislature, then direct the investigating agencies like CBI to investigate into the allegations of denotification of lands in the Arkavathy layout.
d) Pass such other order as this Hon’ble deems fit in the nature of justice and equity.”
Heard Sri K.N.Phanindra, learned Senior Advocate for the petitioner and learned Additional Government for the respondent and perused the material on record.
The material on record discloses that the present petition has been filed on 12.08.2021. Subsequently, the subject matter of the present petition has been dealt by the learned Single Judge of this Court in the case of K.P.Anjanappa Vs. The State of Karnataka and others in W.P.No.51929/2014 and connected matters decided on 27.09.2021, where several directions have been issued including constituting the Committee comprising of Hon’ble Mr. Justice K.N. Keshavanarayana, Former Judge, High Court of Karnataka.
Under these circumstances, nothing survives for consideration in the present petition and the same is accordingly disposed of.
