Judgment

The petitioner has approached this Court seeking the following prayers:
“i) Issue a Writ of Mandamus, or any other appropriate Writ, Order or Direction commanding the respondents not to collect fees from the vehicles parked on the market road in front of the Petitioner’s Stationary Shop ‘OSK enterprises Kayamkulam’ functioning in Building No. 373 in Ward No.9 of Kayamkulam Municipality.
ii) Issue an appropriate Writ, Order or Direction declaring that the respondents have no right to collect fees from the vehicles parked on the market road in front of the Petitioner’s Stationary Shop ‘OSK enterprises Kayamkulam’ functioning in Building No. 373 in Ward No. 9 of Kayamkulam Municipality.
iii) Dispense with the translation of documents produced in vernacular languages.
iv) Pass such other appropriate Writs, Orders or Directions as this Hon’ble Court may deem just and proper to issue in the circumstances of the case.”
Grievance of the petitioner is with respect to the demand of parking fee from the vehicles parked on the road margin of Vegetable Market Road in front of the petitioner’s stationery shop. The petitioner has highlighted the grievance before the 2nd respondent by way of Ext.P6. Limited prayer sought by the petitioner is for a direction to consider the same and pass appropriate orders thereon.
After hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents, this writ petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to take up Ext.P6 and pass appropriate orders on the said representation within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.
