This petition is filed seeking extension of time for completion of Arbitration Proceedings. The period expired on 25/10/2020. Notices sought to be issued in this O.P.(A.T.E) to respondents 2 and 3, were not served since they are reported to be abroad. Though, as per order dated 10/08/2022, attempt was made to serve notice on counsel who was appearing on their behalf before the Arbitrator, the learned counsel reported that in the present scenario, he is unable to accept notice. Thereafter, as per order dated 02/09/2022, this Court directed notice to be affixed in the last known address and the same has been effected.
In the light of the above, service of notice on respondents 2 and 3 declared complete.
Annexure P2 proceedings shows that evidence has already been completed and all that remains is the final hearing.
In the light of the above, I am satisfied that the time for completion of the Arbitration Proceedings could be extended.
Accordingly, the time for completion of the Arbitration Proceedings will stand extended till 30/01/2022.
