Judgment

By means of this writ petition, petitioner has sought the mandamus commanding the respondents to treat the entire services of petitioner as daily wager with effect from his initial date of appointment and consequently, consider his claim for regularization on the post occupied by petitioner or on any other equivalent posts w.e.f. date of his initial engagement and pay him all consequential benefits.
Petitioner was initially engaged through outsourcing agency against the sanctioned and vacant post on daily wages basis in respondent-University in the year 2007. Petitioner contends that similarly placed persons in the University and other government departments have been given benefit of regularization under the Rules of 2011 and 2013, but, the claim of petitioner was not considered so far.
Learned counsel for petitioner submits that the case of petitioner is squarely covered by the judgment and order dated 21.03.2024 passed by this Court in WPSS No.421 of 2024 Hari Ram Vs. Vice Chancellor Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology and others.
The said fact is not disputed by learned counsel for respondents.
Accordingly, the present writ petition is disposed of in terms of judgment and order dated 21.03.2024 passed by this Court in WPSS No.421 of 2024 Hari Ram Vs. Vice Chancellor Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology and others.
Pending application(s), if any, stands disposed of.
