Judgment

The matter comes up on an application under Section 5 of the Limitation for condonation of delay in filing the appeal.
For the reasons mentioned in the application (Inward No.01/2020), the same is allowed. Delay of 27 days in filing the appeal is condoned. At the request, the matter is being heard and decided today itself.
The learned Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Sirohi by its judgment and award dated 08.11.2019 passed in MAC Case No.201/2016 (CIS No.202/2016) awarded compensation to the tune of Rs.8,66,600/- to the claimant/appellant.
With the consent of counsel for the parties, the above amount of compensation is further enhanced by Rs.1,50,000/- in addition, to the compensation awarded to the claimant/appellant. The enhanced amount of compensation be paid within a period of one month and if the enhanced amount could not be paid to the claimant within the stipulated time, then the insurance company shall also pay interest @ 9% per annum over the enhanced amount from the date of this order.
The present appeal is disposed of in the above terms.
