Judgment
Kurian Joseph, C.J.—The writ petition is filed with the following prayers:
I. Direct the Respondent Corporation by way of issuance of writ of Mandamus to offer to the Petitioner the post of Driver on contract basis which were advertised by the Respondent Corporation in September, 2006 and the selection process of which was successfully completed by the Petitioner.
II. This Hon''ble court may kindly be pleased to hold the act of the Respondent Corporation of not offering the post of Driver on contract basis to the Petitioner which was advertised by it in September, 2006 and the selection process of which was successfully completed by the Petitioner and re-advertising the said post vide Annexure P-4 as bad in law and issue a writ of Certiorari quashing the advertisement issued by the Respondent Corporation vide Annexure A-4 to the extent it re-advertised the posts which were earlier advertised by it in the year 2006.
It is submitted that the Petitioner is similarly situated person as he is covered by Annexure P-5, judgment in CWP No. 601 of 2010 alongwith connected cases. If that be so, there will be a direction to the first Respondent to consider the case of the Petitioner keeping in view also the fact that he is in select list, in terms of the judgment, referred to above. The orders, as above, shall be passed in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of production of a copy of this judgment alongwith a copy of the writ petition by the Petitioner.
With these observations, the petition stands disposed of, so also the pending application(s), if any.
