Learned counsel appearing for respondent who was the Commissioner, Hassan City Municipality, retired on his superannuation on 30.04.2023 as per the Service Rules and in his place, Sri.P.Rangaswamy-Assistant Executive Engineer, City Municipality, Hassan, was directed to hold the Additional Charge of office of Commissioner. Subsequently, the post is occupied by a regular incumbent Mr.Satish. Learned counsel representing the Hassan City Municipality, submits that the incumbent Mr.Satish who recently occupied the position would comply the order of learned Single Judge if sometime is granted by this court. Accordingly, considering the submission of the counsel, eight weeks time is granted to Mr.Satish to take all steps for complying the order of the learned Single Judge in letter & spirit.
With the above observations, the complaint of contempt is disposed off. Needless to state that if there is non-compliance of the undertaking given to this court, the complainant is at liberty to approach this court afresh. Costs made easy.
