Judgment

The present petition has been filed for quashing of the FIR No. 283 dated 10.07.2017 registered under Sections 323, 307, 341, 365, 506, 34 IPC and
Sections 25/54/59 of Arms Act at Police Station Indri, District Karnal, on the basis of compromise dated 17.01.2018 (Annexure P-2).
Pursuant to order dated 23.01.2018, report dated 08.02.2018 has been received from the Addl. Civil Judge(Sr. Divn.)-cum-Sub Divisional Judicial
Magistrate, Indri. According to this report, the compromise has been arrived at consensually and without any threat or coercion. It is also a genuine
compromise.
Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that after investigation the police has deleted Section 307 IPC and Section 25 of Arms Act, 1959 from the
FIR.
Learned counsel for the respondents admit whatever has been stated hereinabove.
In view of the above, the petition is allowed and the FIR No. 283 dated 10.07.2017 registered under Sections 323, 307, 341, 365, 506, 34 IPC and
Sections 25 of Arms Act, 1959, at Police Station Indri, District Karnal and all the consequential proceedings arising therefrom are hereby quashed
qua the petitioners.
