Judgment
The latest affidavit filed by the Superintendent of Police, West Singhbhum, Chaibasa, dated 07.6.2021 has been placed by the learned counsel for the State. Perusal thereof creates an impression that the victim girl Radhi Sandil was stated to be working as a domestic help till 05.08.2016 in the house of one Gyan Devi, resident of Patel Nagar, New Delhi, and she went out of the house for fetching milk powder, but thereafter she did not return.
The Investigating Team had gone to New Delhi and taken the statement of Gyan Devi, who stated to have reported the matter before Patel Nagar Police Station, New Delhi, but no further clue is available thereafter. The Investigating Team had gone to Delhi on 09.04.2021 and enquired from the Patel Nagar Police Station, but the girl could not be traced.
It appears from the statement of learned counsel for the respondent Nos. 5 and 6 that during investigation, the police has collected the Aadhar Card of the minor girl Radhe Sandil which is also referred in the case diary. However, the affidavit of the State does not indicate whether the authenticity of the Aadhar Card and whether it belongs to the same girl has been verified from the U.I.D. Authority or not.
Learned counsel for the State shall seek instruction on this issue and any further steps taken by the Investigating Agency to trace the girl.
Let the matter appear after three weeks.
