Judgment

 1. This matter is taken up by video conferencing mode.
Heard Mr.Sahoo, learned counsel for the appellant and Mr. Tripathy, learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State.
This is an appeal under Section 14A of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act and the offences alleged are
under Sections 376(2)(n)/354A/506/34 of the I.P.C, Section 3(1)(r)(s)(w) /3(2)(va) of the SC & ST (PoA) Act
It is submitted that the appellant is inside custody since 4.11.2020 and as per the allegations, the appellant had promised to marry the victim.
After hearing the learned counsel for the State and considering the statement of the victim recorded under Section 164 Cr.P.C. as well as the
circumstances of the case, it is directed that the appellant be released on bail in G.R. Case No.29 of 2020 (SC & ST) arising out of Marine P.S.Case
No.32 of 2020 on such terms and conditions to be fixed by the learned court below in seisin over the matter including the condition that he shall not
dissuade any witness directly or indirectly by way of inducement, threat or promise acquainted with the facts of the case from disclosing such facts
before the court or tamper with the evidence.
The appeal is disposed of.
