The above review application has been filed by the complainants against the order dated 18.04.2023, whereby the complaint was partly allowed with the direction to the opposite party to issue fresh statement of account giving delay compensation in the form of interest @6% per annum on the deposits of the complainant from 01.01.2015 to 14.01.2019 within one month from the date of the judgment. The opposite party was held liable to charge interest @9% per annum on its dues from 16.01.2019.
Alongwith the review application, IA/14088/2023 has also been filed seeking open court hearing in the review applications. Final judgment dated 18.04.2023 was passed after hearing the parties. Therefore, the application for oral hearing is rejected.
In the review application, the complainants have described their entire case and the application runs into 17 pages. The entire review application reads like an appeal. Review cannot be an appeal in disguise.
Accordingly, the review application is dismissed.
