By way of this contempt petition, the petitioner has prayed for initiation of appropriate action against the respondents for willfully disobeying the

order, which was passed by Hon’ble Division Bench of this Court in CWP No. 1548 of 2021, titled as Bir Singh vs. State of H.P. and another,

dated 23.03.2021, which petition stood disposed of by this Court in the following terms:-

“In view of the fact that the petitioner is seeking transfer in terms of the transfer policy and his representation is still pending, we dispose of the

present petition with direction to the respondents to consider the representation dated 26.12.2019 (Annnexure P-3) and pass appropriate orders within

a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.â€​

Learned Additional Advocate General has handed over a copy of the instructions so imparted to him by the Director of Elementary Education,

Himachal Pradesh, dated 29th July, 2021, which is ordered to be taken on record, on the strength of which, learned Additional Advocate General

submits that the petitioner has been transferred from GSSS Dhar -Chandna, District Shimla to Government High School, Navbahar under GSSS

Sanjauli, District Shimla, against vacancy, alongwith post, vide order dated 27.07.2021. He accordingly submits that now the judgment passed by the

Court stands complied with in letter and spirit.

The submission so made by learned Additional Advocate General is endorsed by learned Counsel for the petitioner.

In this view of the matter, these contempt proceedings are dropped. Notice discharged.
