Jyotsna Rewal Dua, J
FIR No. 52 of 2022, dated 10.06.2022, was registered against the petitioner under Sections 376, 506 of Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 at Police Station BSL Colony Sunder Nagar, District Mandi, H.P. Petitioner seeks regular bail in this FIR.
The respondent has filed the status report and also produced the record.
Learned Additional Advocate General on the basis of instructions imparted to him by ASI Ajay Kumar, submitted that the prosecution is now left with the examination of investigating officer and the SHO, who presented the challan in the case.
Taking into consideration that the trial is now on the verge of completion and only the investigating officer and SHO, who presented the challan in the case remain to be examined, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he may be permitted to withdraw this petition at this stage. Prayer is accepted. The petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Pending miscellaneous, if any, also stand disposed of.
