Additional Advocate General, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

Copies of the writ petition have been supplied to the learned Counsel for the respondents.

The petitioner has approached this Court for issuance of directions to the respondents Punjab State Agricultural Marketing Board and Market Committee, Mansa to allot a plot to it in New Grain Market at Mansa. It has been claimed by the petitioner that it is eligible for allotment of the aforesaid plot and in spite of the fact that it had deposited 25% of the amount required for allotment of the said plot, no such allotment has been made so far.

After hearing the learned Counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the pleas raised by the petitioner and in view of the fact that identical matters had already been disposed of by this Court giving a liberty to the said petitioners to approach the respondent authorities, we dispose of the present petition with a liberty to the petitioner to file a representation within a period of one month from today staking its claim for the allotment of site in New Anaj Mandi. In the aforesaid representation, the petitioner would be required to give all such details which show that it is eligible for allotment of sites in the New Anaj Mandi as per the rules. All the relevant documents shall be appended by the petitioner along with the said representation. If any such representation is filed before the Secretary, Punjab State Agricultural Marketing Board, then the aforesaid representation shall be considered by the Secretary within a period of four months from the date of filing of the said representation by passing a detailed and speaking order.

Till the matter is finally decided by the aforesaid authority, the petitioner would be at liberty to carry on its business at the old site.
