R. H. Zaidi, J.—Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel.

By means of this petition, petitioner prays for a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to regularise the services of the petitioner as Collection Amin in accordance with rules.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioners were entitled to be regularised as Collection Amins under the rules but the respondents in spite of the representations/applications made by the petitioners, were not regularising their services. It has also been stated that the petitioner has already filed a representations for ventilation of their grievances which are stated to be pending before the respondent No. 2. The controversy regarding appointment and regularisation of the services of the Collection Amins stand resolved and concluded by the decision of this Court in Altar Singh v. Collector, Muzaffamagar, 1995 (1) ESC 184. I, therefore, without entering into the merits of the case, direct the respondent No. 2 to decide the representations of the petitioners by means of speaking orders taking into consideration the aforesaid decision and the relevant rules with in, 2 months from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before him.

Unless the services of the petitioners have already been terminated, the petitioner shall continue to work as Collection Amins. They will also be entitled to their salaries till disposal of the representations.

With these observations and directions, the writ petition stands disposed of finally.
