1.

The challenge in the present writ petition is with respect to order dated 21st August, 2023 whereby the Appellant Authority, constituted under Section 45-IA(7) of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934 (RBI Act) has dismissed the appeal of the petitioner herein and thereby there is a rejection of Certificate of Registration (COR) to the petitioner.

2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is now desirous of filing application afresh seeking registration, while ensuring that the deficiencies, which had been pointed out earlier, are duly taken care of. It, therefore, does not press the present petition, at the moment.

3.

Learned counsel for respondents, who appears on advance notice, submits that, in case, any such application is moved by the petitioner herein, it shall be disposed of as expeditiously as possible and, preferably, within a period of eight weeks from today, without getting influenced or prejudiced by the observations appearing in the impugned order.

4.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that fresh application/representation shall be made within 10 days from today.

5.

Such statements are taken on record.

6.

The petition stands disposed of in the aforesaid terms.

7.

Needless to say, the petitioner would be at liberty to invoke jurisdiction of this Court, if aggrieved by the outcome thereof.
