1.

Petitioner is aggrieved by the communication dated 07.06.2011 issued by the Registrar, Karnataka Veterinary Animal and Fisheries Sciences University, Nandinagar, Bidar, produced at Annexure ''A''. The petitioner had sought for information under the provisions of the Right to Information Act, 2005. However, by the impugned communication, the Registrar has informed the petitioner that his request as regard to the present status of his candidature for the requirement (may be `recruitment'') backlog post of Assistant Professor in Statistics has not been considered.

2.

The second request was with regard to the vested interest in not including the Assistant Professor in the corrigendum dated 08.12.2010, for which, reply of the Registrar is that copy of the legal opinion is enclosed. Under the provisions of the Right to Information Act, 2005, if any information is not furnished by the concerned authority within the stipulated time, remedy of an appeal is provided u/s 19 of the said Act. The petitioner, without exhausting such remedy, has filed this writ petition.

Hence, the petition stands dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to file an appeal before the competent authority.
