Heard Mr. P. Roy Barman, learned senior counsel assisted by Ms. A. Debbarma, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. D. Bhattacharya, learned G.A. assisted by Mr. S. Saha, learned counsel appearing for the State-respondents.

The case of the petitioner is that she had successfully cleared the T-TET examination in the year 2021 and she appeared in the selection process meant for Teachers, in pursuance to the advertisement dated 10.02.2021. Further advertisement was published on 01.10.2022 and that time also she succeeded in the examination. The grievance of the petitioner is that she could not produce the D. EL.ED Part-II Mark-sheet and certificate at the time of verification of the documents by the Teachers’ Recruitment Board, Tripura (TRBT).

Learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner could not produce the Mark-sheet and D.EL.ED certificate since during COVID period her college could not supply the certificate and Mark-sheet. It was not due to the fault of the petitioner that she could not produce the relevant documents at the time of verification by TRBT. The petitioner submitted representation to accept her Mark-sheet and certificate, but, that was not considered by the TRBT authority for the reason that at the time of verification the relevant documents were not there.

Learned senior counsel has further submitted that the petitioner is one of the unfortunate candidates whose service was terminated by the order of the court giving relaxation of age up-to 45 years and the petitioner will attain the age of 45 years very soon.

Considering the factual aspects and the submissions advanced by learned counsels appearing for the parties, I direct the respondent-TRBT to consider the representation of the petitioner sympathetically and with humanitarian approach keeping in mind that it was not the fault of the petitioner that she could not produce the documents before the authority concerned at the time of verification of the necessary documents which a candidate was supposed to be submitted. The respondent-TRBT is directed to dispose of the representation within a period of 7 days from today. This court hopes and trusts that the petitioner shall be given due consideration and her case shall be considered as observed here-in-above.

With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition stands disposed.

A copy of this order may be furnished to the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned G.A. during the course of the day.
