Judgment
Shabihul Hasnain, J.
Heard Sri Madan Gopal Tripathi, learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned standing counsel for the opposite parties.
The case of the petitioner is that his restoration applications dated 13.2. 1995, 30.6. 2004 and 19.5. 2006 are pending before the opposite party no. 2.
A perusal of the order sheets shows that number of dates have been given but nothing has been done in the matter and the case is not proceeding. Such general dates, which are being given regularly by the Court below, are not proper. This breadths discontents and lack of faith in the governmental machinery to the common man. The faith in law and order and its machinery, is the basis of democracy.
Therefore, opposite party no. 2 is directed to look into the matter and pass appropriate order in this particular case within a period of three months from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before him.
With these observation and direction, the writ petition is finally disposed of.
