The writ petition is filed with the following prayers:

a) That the Respondents may kindly be directed to grant the status of daily wager to the Petitioner as per their policy decision vide letter No. Per (AP.B) B (19)7/2002 dated 27.2.2004, with retrospective date when the applicant completed 10 years of service with consequential benefits.

b) That the Respondents may kindly be directed to allow in favour of the Petitioner the benefit of the judgment/order dated 27.6.06 passed by the Ld. Tribunal which has been affirmed by this Hon''ble Court, as the Petitioner is also working as Revenue Chowkidar on the same term and condition.

The Petitioners are working as part time Revenue Chowkidars. The State Government, in its wisdom, has framed a scheme to grant daily wager status to the part time workers on 27.2.2004. The Government has framed subsequent policy as well.

There will be a direction to the second Respondent/competent authority to look into the matter and take appropriate action in the case of the Petitioners, on verification of facts, in the light of the policy, within a period of four months from the date of production of a copy of this judgment alongwith a copy of the writ petition by the Petitioners before the second Respondent/competent authority.

The writ petition is disposed of, so also the pending application(s), if any.
