Judgment
Petitioner herein seeks issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari to quash the public notice dated 12.12.2019 (Annexure P-6) and dated 13.12.2019 (Annexure P-7) and for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the candidature of the petitioner for appointment to the post of Head Teacher from the date similarly situated persons have been offered appointment alongwith all consequential benefits including seniority, back wages, etc., with interest at the rate of 18% per annum.

On advance service of the petition, Ms. Monica Chhibber Sharma, Sr. DAG, Punjab appears and accepts notice on behalf of the State.
Given the nature of order being passed, there is no necessity to seek return by the respondents as no further proceedings and/or pleadings are required.
Without commenting on the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to objectively consider the case of the petitioner keeping in view the contentions raised in the present writ petition by treating it as a representation and pass a speaking order, in accordance with law.
Let the needful be done within a period of 4 weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
