The petitioners through instant peetition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitutioon of India are seeking direction to respondents to call for the record of resspondents concerning the detailing of Head Constables for Intermediate School Course which continued from October’ 2001 to April’ 2002. They are further seeking setting asiide of appointment of private respondents annd direction to respondents to preepare seniority list from the date of passing the lower school course.
During the pendency of the present petition, the petitioner filed CM No.9685 of 2005 seeking disposal of main petition in the light of judgment passsed by this Court in HC Tara Singh and others v. State of Punjab and otthers, CWP No.16997 of 2001.
Respondent-State in its reply dateed 27.07.2006 has conceded that State has implemented judgment of this Court in HC Tara Singh (supra).
Inn view of stand of respondennt-State, nothing survives and accordingly the present petition is hereby dispoosed of.
Pending application(s), if any, shaall also stand disposed of.
The petitioner is at liberty to move an appropriate application, if cause survives.
