Mr.Mukul Sood, learned counsel for respondent No. 4 has placed on record instructions dated 22.8.2023, wherein it has been informed that Member Secretary will put up the matter, i.e. application form filled in by the petitioners in terms of H.P. Slum Dwellers (Property Right) Act, 2022 before the Chairman of Slum Area Redevelopment and Rehabilitation.

Mr.Mukul Sood, Advocate has also placed on record copy of noting sheets with submission that Member Secretary has placed the matter before the Chairman-cum-Deputy Commissioner, Shimla. According to him now final decision has to be taken by the Chairman-cum-Deputy Commissioner with approval of Government.

In view of above, present matter is closed and disposed of with trust and hope that Chairman-cum-Deputy Commissioner shall process the matter at the earliest and decision thereon shall be taken by the competent authority in accordance with law applicable. Final decision shall be taken as expeditiously as possible, preferably on or before 31.12.2023.

Pending application, if any, also stands disposed of.
