Judgment
The petitioner is aggrieved by the denial of benefit under the LIFE Mission (Livelihood, Inclusion and financial Empowerment Mission). It is stated
that though he was originally included in the list of beneficiaries subsequently on the basis of a report that one of the members of his family who is
included in the ration card is having a house, his application was rejected. The petitioner points out that the name of the said person, who is having a
house, has already been removed from the ration card and therefore the impediment in inclusion of list of beneficiaries does not exist as at present.
It is stated that Ext.P13 application submitted thereafter is not considered by the respondents though it was submitted on 26.08.2020. The petitioner
relies on Ext.P12 order of the Ombudsman in which it was ordered that the petitioner would be free to submit fresh application in accordance with the
Government Order dated 27.07.2020 before the appropriate authorities.
As Ext.P13 is seen submitted before the 9th respondent, there shall be a direction to the 9th respondent to consider the application- Ext.P13
submitted by the petitioner in accordance with law and take a decision at the earliest in accordance with the procedure prescribed as expeditiously as
possible.
The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly.
