Arun Mishra, C.J.—Heard. Admit. With the consent of parties, matter is being disposed of finally.

Appellants filed writ applications praying for the relief to conduct a fresh examination as per syllabus and to delete the wrong answers. Admittedly, the examination was also held at Jaipur. The examination of CLAT was conducted this year by National Law University, Jodhpur for all the National Law Universities in India through various centres established in different States, as such, in our view, petitions could be filed where the centres of the examination were situated as cause of action has arisen at such places as contemplated under Article 226(2) of the Constitution. Thus, it is not a case where the situation of National Law University will determine the jurisdiction, as it cannot be said that only at Jodhpur the petitions should have been filed considering the nature of examination, which was held for various Law Institutions in the Country. Jaipur Bench can entertain the petitions as examination was also held at Jaipur. Impugned order is set aside. We request the Single bench to deal with the matter and to decide the same considering merits.
