Augustine George Masih, J.—Counsel for the Petitioner restricts his claim only to the benefit of Contributory Provident Fund and gives up all other claims, which he has made in the writ petition. Counsel states that for the said claim, the Petitioner, along with other claims, had filed a representation dated January, 2010 (Annexure P-15) which is lying pending with the Secretary, Local Government Department Punjab-Respondent No. 1 and prays that a time bound direction may be issued to him to decide the claim of the Contributory Provident Fund of the Petitioner.

Without going into the merits of the case and in the light of the statement of the counsel for the Petitioner made in the representation dated January, 2010 (Annexure P-15) restricting his claim to the Contributory Provident Fund, a direction is issued to the Secretary, Local Government Department Punjab-Respondent No. 1 to consider and decide the representation dated January, 2010 (Annexure P-15) within a period of three months'' from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. A speaking order be passed while disposing of the said representation. In case, the Petitioner is held entitled to the claim made to the Contributory Provident Fund, the same shall be disbursed to the Petitioner within a further period of two months.
