M. Jaichandren, J.—Heard Mr. PT.S. Narendravasan, the learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the Petitioner, as well as Mr. R. Manoharan, the learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the first Respondent.

At this stage of the hearing of the writ petition, the learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the first Respondent had placed before this Court, the proceedings of the first Respondent Na. Ka. No. 4426/A2/2010, dated 16.09.2010, wherein an advice had been rendered to the Secretary of Paramakudi Ayira Vaisya Sabai, Paramakudi, to permit the physically handicapped and aged persons to vote in the election, for the office bearers of the Paramakudi Ayira Vaisya Sabai, to be held on 10.10.2010.

In view of the advice rendered by the first Respondent, since, no further orders are necessary in this writ petition, this writ petition is closed. However, it is made clear that it is expected that the first Respondent would expedite the matter relating to the amendment of the bye-laws, as recommended by the resolution of the second Respondent, dated 07.04.2002, as per Section 54(1) of the Societies Registration Act, 1860. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
