Judgment
Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned counsels for Union of India. On behalf of the petitioners it has been submitted that the recent judgment of this Tribunal passed in R.A. No. 7 of 2020 in T.P. No. 56 of 2020 - Netmagic Solutions Pvt. Ltd. Vs. Union of India on 28.2.2022 would cover the case of some of the petitioners and entitle them for some relief. But it has also been submitted that the larger issue on which Union of India is required to take a decision will cover larger number of service providers/licensees and therefore as prayed on behalf of Union of India, some further time may be granted to enable Union of India to take the required decision. Learned counsel for Union of India has prayed for time till April, 2022 and he is hopeful that by that time and the decision shall be taken at the appropriate level.
It is noted that through various orders this Tribunal has already made repeated requests for an early decision in the matter. It is expected that this will be the final time and the respondent Union of India shall take the decision within the time granted.
Post the matter under the same head on 6.5.2022.
Interim order passed earlier shall continue until further orders.
