H.S. Thangkhiew, J

1.

By this instant review application, the review petitioners are seeking review of the order dated 13-10-2025, passed by this Court in WP(C). No. 311 of 2024, whereby the review petitioners had been directed to subject the respondent/writ petitioner, to a review medical examination for the purposes of determining his fitness for recruitment.

2.

Dr. N.Mozika, learned DSGI assisted by Ms. M.Myrchiang, learned counsel for the review petitioners, submits that a review medical examination will not be the correct remedy, inasmuch as, in view of the lapse of time, and by the prescription of the revised uniform guidelines for recruitment medical examination for recruitment of GOs and NGOs in the CSPFs & Assam Rifles, the findings or opinion will be valid for one year from the date of fitness. He further submits that as the last examination was done on 16-07-2023, the respondent/writ petitioner will have to undertake a fresh medical examination. He further submits that the review of the order is limited to this extent.

3.

Ms. S.K.Lamba, learned counsel for the respondent/writ petitioner, has no objection if the review application is allowed, but submits that the medical examination should be conducted as expeditiously as possible.

4.

On the submissions made, this review application is allowed to the extent indicated above and stands disposed of, however, with the direction that the medical examination should be done within three months from the date of this order.
