Judgment
The petitioner had approached this Court earlier seeking the same relief vide Writ Petition (Civil) No.1064/2017. By order dated 10th November, 2017, this Court had permitted the petitioner to approach the National Commission for Minorities. According to the petitioner, he had submitted a detailed representation, inter alia, to the Chairperson of the National Commission for Minorities on 17th November, 2017 and not getting any response, has filed the present writ petition again in terms of the liberty granted by the Court's order dated 10th November, 2017.
Instead of entertaining the present writ petition, we are of the view that at this stage the National Commission for Minorities should be asked to consider the representation dated 17th November, 2017 filed by the petitioner (Annexure P2 to the writ petition) and pass appropriate orders thereon. The Court would expect the National Commission for Minorities to take decision in the matter as early as possible, preferably within a period of three months from today. Once the said exercise is completed, the petitioner will be free to avail of such remedies as available to him in law.
With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands disposed of.
