Nobody appears on behalf of the petitioners.

Learned counsel for the respondents Mr. Anoop Kumar Mehta is present.

This writ petition has been filed for the following reliefs:

“ For quashing of the reasoned order passed in terms of the order of this Court dated 22.05.2013 by General Manager (P & IR), whereby the claim of the petitioners for appointment in terms of the guidelines of the Hon’ble Apex Court has been rejected on the ground that the petitioners are not trained apprentice, hence not covered under the guidelines of the Hon’ble Apex Court and secondly on the ground that Bharat Coking Coal Limited has not yet advertised any post of Over man/ Mining Sirdar at the present lying down the qualification, etc. and at present the claim is premature;

For issuance of direction upon the respondents to appoint the petitioners on the post of Over man/Mining Sirdar in Bharat Coking Coal Ltd. as they are fully and duly eligible to be appointed on priority without following the Selection process in terms of the guidelines laid down by the Hon’ble Apex Court as they respondents have completely misinterpreted of the guidelines of the Hon’ble Apex Court in order to deprive the petitioners from being appointed;”

Learned counsel for the respondents refers to the order dated 22.02.2022 wherein it was submitted by him that the present case has become infructuous and the learned counsel for the petitioners had taken time to seek instructions and today he is not appearing. During the course of hearing today, learned counsel for the respondents reiterated that the present case has become infructuous.

Considering the submission of learned counsel for the respondents, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.
