On 15.01.2015, counsel for the petitioner sought two

weeks time for removing the defects pointed out by the Registry.

On 15.01.2015, a coordinate Bench had passed the

following order:-

"Two weeks time is given to remove the defect."

Thereafter on 22.02.2017 another two weeks time was

granted to the petitioner by the coordinate Bench. Order dated

22.02.2017 reads as under:-

"On 15.01.2015 two weeks'' time was granted to remove the defects. But the defects have not been removed till today. As a last chance two weeks'' time is granted to remove the defects failing which the petition will be dismissed without reference to the court. Put up on 21.03.2017. "

Defects pointed out by the Registry on 29.10.2014

have not been removed till today, even though ample

opportunities have been given to the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that

during pendency of the writ petition, a judgment has been

rendered by the Supreme Court against the petitioner holding that

no appointment shall be given to the person who had filed the writ

petition after 18.10.1999. Counsel for the petitioner prays that he

may be permitted to withdraw the present writ petition with liberty

to the petitioner to approach the respondents for redressal of his

grievance.

As prayed, the present writ petition is dismissed as

withdrawn with liberty, as aforesaid.
