Notice. Ms. Leena Guleria, learned Deputy Advocate General, appears and waives service of notice on behalf of the respondents.

With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the matter is heard at this stage.

Petitioner is serving as Lecturer English in the respondent-department and posted at Government Senior Secondary School Manhuta, District

Chamba, H.P. The case set up by the petitioner is that he has been serving at the present place of posting w.e.f. 24.12.2019. On completion of more

than five years of service at the present place of posting, petitioner represented to respondent No.2 on 16.10.2024 (Annexure P-3) seeking his transfer

citing adverse family circumstances. Petitioner’s grievance is that the said representation has till date not been decided by respondent

No.2/competent authority.

Looking to the grievance of the petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of by directing respondent No.2/competent authority to consider and decide

the aforesaid representation of the petitioner, in accordance with law and applicable Transfer Policy, within a period of three weeks from today. The

order so passed be also communicated to the petitioner. Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, shall also stand disposed of.
