It has been submitted that the petitioner was appointed as Sweeper on part time basis in Government Primary School Portmore, Shimla on 01.09.2006. The petitioner is statedly working in the said school as a part time worker ever since her appointment in 2006.

The grouse of the petitioner is that she was to be conferred status of daily wage employee in the year 2016 as per the judgment rendered in CWP No. 3310 of 2011, titled Leela Devi Vs. State of H.P. and others, decided on 12.011.2011, but the respondents have neither conferred the status of daily wage employee upon the petitioner in accordance with the above mentioned judgment nor have granted her regular status thereafter from due dates. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would be content in case the respondents/competent authority is directed to decide her case for conferment of daily waged and regular status from due dates in accordance with the judgment rendered in CWP No. 3310 of 2011, titled Leela Devi Vs. State of H.P. and others within the time bound period. Learned Additional Advocate General is not averse to this request.

In light of the above submissions without examining the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondents/competent authority to decide the case of the petitioner for conferment of daily waged and regular status upon her from due dates in accordance with the applicable policy/guidelines keeping in view the judgment dated 12.11.2011 passed in CWP No. 3310 of 2011, titled Leela Devi Vs. State of H.P. and others within a period of two months from today by passing a speaking order in this regard. The copy of order, so passed by the respondents, shall be supplied to the petitioner. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed of.
